Does Convergence play Horde or Alliance?
Convergence plays Alliance. A large contingent of us also plans to make Horde characters when the Hardcore server goes live.
Does Convergence play on the PvE or PvP ruleset?
Convergence plays on the PvE ruleset.
How does team selection work?
Apply to the team that fits your goals and availability. Officers review applications and decide placement. Trials range from one raid to two weeks, depending on the player, and we generally favor shorter trials.
What loot system will each team use?
Teams 1 and 2 use loot council. Players on those teams have access to the guild’s master document explaining the system. Team 3 uses rolls, with common-sense discussion when needed. Rare chase items may be handled by loot council in Team 3, depending on their scarcity.
Who are the officers and raid leaders?
Leadership will be announced soon.
Can I move between raid teams?
Moves to a lower-commitment team depend on roster space. Moving to a higher-commitment team is harder, though significant changes in availability or circumstances may justify reconsidering placement. Teams 2 and 3 are intended as lasting homes, with external recruitment favored over internal promotion.
Is this Convergence's main focus?
Yes. No other game is currently being supported and you will see no sections or channel space dedicated to other games on the Convergence Discord. Our next planned supported games are Guild Wars 3 and the Riot MMO. Both very far away.
